What you’ll need to make an inexpensive Halloween party centerpiece:

  • A roll of ribbon
  • Tin foil or tissue paper
  • One mylar balloon for each table (you can add latex balloons also, i.e. 2 latex, 1 mylar).

Creating the Centerpiece:

  • Wrap each potato with the tin foil or colored tissue paper, gather at the top and twist.
  • Purchase a disposable helium tank to save time and money if not buying balloons from a local party store.
  • Inflate balloons and use enough ribbon to curl at the bottom (If you are buying balloons, ask for extra long ribbons)
