Perfect for a Halloween dinner or kid’s party, arrange on a decorative Halloween platter.
Ingredients:
Instant mashed potatoes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 19-ounce can black beans, drained
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the instant mashed potatoes box and make about four cups worth. Season with salt and pepper.
Scoop the potatoes into a pastry bag without a decorator’s tip or simply use a plastic baggie with a corner cut out.
Squeeze the ghosts onto a lightly buttered cookie sheet so they stand upright.
Insert two black beans into the top of the potato mound to represent the ghost’s eyes.
Just before serving, warm the ghosts in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for about 5 minutes.
